Playhouse Day Nursery aims to provide a safe, secure, caring and stimulating environment for children, from the age of 4 months up to 8 years.
Our aim is that the care that we give shall be of the highest quality, with special attention given to Pre-school education and the happiness and well being of the individual.

Within Playhouse, children are able to participate in a wide variety of play experiences, some directed or supported by caring adults, some allowing for more choice and discovery, which enables them to develop the skills needed to become more independent, with a positive self image.

Within a Christian environment we will encourage children to develop an understanding of their fellow man, regardless of colour, creed, religion, gender, linguistic background, additional needs or disability, and to develop values of sharing and caring for others.

Each child will be encouraged to learn skills needed for a smooth transition to infant school life (i.e. physical, cognitive, emotional and social skills).

Our aim is that the children in our care should be happy and safe.

Above all else they will be given whatever is necessary for them to develop as individuals.
