We have three large playrooms, two of the playrooms have adjoining enclosed all weather playgrounds (with safety surfaces) to encourage free flow play, a separate ‘quiet room’, child sized conveniences and a sensory room.

BABY & TODDLER ROOM

In our Baby & Toddler room we cater for babies from Birth up to the age of 2 years old.

In the Baby & Toddler Room we love getting messy. We enjoy lots of sensory play, exploring different textures such as, shaving foam, beans and jelly play! We also love painting and sticking and being very creative.

There are also treasure baskets (full of everyday objects) within the room for your child to explore and lots of fun toys to play with.

ROOMS

MIDDLES ROOM

In our Middles room, we cater for 2-3 year olds. We begin to introduce circle times, where children will come together to discuss anything that interests them, this helps with their communication and social development.

During their time in this group your child will experience new activities ranging from cooking, scissor control and mark making. We will also support you to potty train your child when he/she is ready.

We really encourage good communication skills and enjoy talking about everything! We also learn a lot about colours, numbers and shapes.

The Middles room has an adjoining garden so it allows your child to have the freedom of inside and outdoor play throughout the day.

PRE-SCHOOL ROOM

In our Pre-school room our main aims are to laugh, learn and have fun!

We cater for 3-5-year olds, focusing on letters, numbers and learning through fun and challenging activities.

Throughout these activities we are increasing your child’s concentration skills in preparation for school. We also love getting messy and we enjoy free flow play in our adjoining garden.

Within the pre-school year your child will experience being in our Nativity play and coming to our graduation where we celebrate all the children’s achievements. They get to wear a special gown and cap and we have a big party where all the children have fun.

Everyday we have a ‘special helper’ and each month we award someone our ‘star of the month’ certificate.

In January, we start our letter of the week, where we focus on a different letter each week. We encourage the children to bring in something from home beginning with the letter of the week and we also practice writing the letter together.

In the summer, we start our P.E. lessons, we ask our children to bring in P.E. kits, this is to develop the children’s independent skills as they learn to dress/undress themselves ready for school and to encourage active play.

School readiness is important, but we also encourage all our children to have good manner, to be honest and to care for others.

We have a low-level basket that the babies and toddlers can get into to enjoy a storybook or just relax!!

We often enjoy having free flow play between the room and the sensory room, where we can enjoy different sensory experiences!

Communication is very important in the Baby room and we love hearing about all the new things your child does at home.

We have daily diaries which will tell you what your child has been eating, which bottles they have had and how much, your child’s sleep times and also their nappy changes.

There is also a space for you to leave messages about your child.
